A responsible commitment for the respect of environmental values

The tradition, authenticity and innovation values drive the Toubois Company to offer ever more technical and ecological products in a range of sustainable and recyclable wood-based products.

Toubois has obtained FSC® certification, in line with the ecological values of its managers and teams. The latter testifies that the raw materials used come from forests that are subject to strict rules of responsible forest management.

Besides, Toubois ensures that the logs and wood-derived products come from CFAD. So, our partners are assured that the products they purchase come from a transparent cycle with no place for anarchical harvesting of nature.

Adherence to traditional values, authenticity and innovation are all elements that lead Toubois to continually offer new technical and eco-designed products, in a range of natural products based on sustainable wood. Production is also controlled, with the choice of non-polluting materials that have a low impact on the environment and on health, the rational management of stocks, the use of all wood waste and the recuperation of energy.

FLEGT

Forest Law Enforcement Governance and Trade

The Arbor Group is firmly committed in the struggle against illegal woodcuts and massive deforestation. That is why our supply policy scrupulously respects the FLEGT program, as well as any initiative aiming to prohibit access to the European market for wood and wood-derived products resulting from illegal harvests.
So, as part of our Due Diligence approach, we only work with companies able to prove the conformity of their products according to the legislation enforced in their countries.

NF EN 45545

NF EN 45545

NF EN 45545-1 is a European standard for "fire protection in railway vehicles".
It became a mandatory requirement in 2016 throughout Europe, replacing the French standard NF F 16-101 (Behaviour in fire - Railway rolling stock).
It aims to improve the protection of passengers and staff against fires on board railway vehicles and concerns manufacturers of railway vehicles, including high-speed trains, regional trains, trams, metros, etc.
The design of railway vehicles and the products used must aim to limit the development of a fire, should one occur, in order to achieve an acceptable level of safety.
The standard NF EN 45545-2 defines "Requirements for the fire behaviour of materials and components" (floors, walls, ceiling), including floor coverings, seats, etc.
The main parameters measured are flame spread, flammability, heat release, smoke opacity and toxicity. Materials are then classified according to a set of 26 requirements (R1-R26) depending on location, shape or exposed surface.
In addition, there is a risk level classification according to vehicle type and operating category.
